With more than 230 years of innovation behind us, AJ Nonwovens is moving into the future with an eye on continued innovation and sustainability.
AstenJohnson recognized that nonwoven performance textiles needed dedicated focus, and in 2014 acquired Eagle Nonwovens in St. Louis, Missouri. As demand continued to grow, AstenJohnson acquired Foss Performance Materials in Hampton, New Hampshire. Today, Eagle and Foss are still active and operate together as AJ Nonwovens. They have the strength of 230 years of stability, and the financial support to remain strong in the future.
Safety has long been one of the core values within the AstenJohnson organization. In 2016, we launched a new safety initiative to enhance and communicate our culture of protection, accountability, commitment, and trust. This initiative, dubbed the Zero Accident Culture (ZAC), serves as a reminder of our shared vision for an environment where we all take pride and responsibility in caring for ourselves and for others. Learn more on our ZAC Report website.
Sustainability is central to who we are as an organization. We protect and carefully manage the resources entrusted to us and actively support our communities. We understand our responsibility in managing our social, economic and environmental impact. By combining our expertise and engagement globally, we continue to innovate for our customers, our planet and ourselves. Learn more from our interactive report: ajsustain.report/
